A canned combustor has a metal band around it. Combustor cells - 16 cells means 4X4 cells = 1 inch. 25 cell means 5X5 cells per inch.

Optional interim gasket is a thin strip wrapped around the combustor. When heated the foam like gasket will seal the combustor into the chamber. Some stoves require the interim gasket.
